1968 Electric Ford Mustang Zombie 222
Check out this 800 horsepower 1968 electric Ford Mustang. Texas man Mitch Medford worked with drag racer John Wayland to custom make the car. They call it Zombie 222.
How fast will it go you ask? Try 0-60 in only 1.94 seconds. That’s quicker than a Bugatti Veyron. Not only that, but this electric Ford Mustang has 1,800 foot-pounds of torque on tap as well. From a real world perspective, it means it will eat a Tesla Model S P85D for lunch. Literally. Check out the video proof below.
Underneath, the car has 13-inch Brembo brakes with custom Blistein suspension. The driving range is anywhere from 40 to 140 miles depending on the batter size that gets installed. Not only that, but it is fully street legal.
Additionally Medford has started a company called Bloodshed Motors, which will fill a niche in the electric muscle car movement. What about the cost? Try $200,000 to $250,000 for the Zombie 222 electric Ford Mustang. But the uniqueness? Priceless…
